Introduce Your Kids To Osmo For A New Way To Play With Their iPad

Do your kids have an iPad? If they do, you’ll want to introduce them to Osmo… an award winning game system, for kids ages 5 to 12, that connects good old fashioned play time (drawing, pretend cooking, card games) with modern technology through the iPad. (By the way, keep reading for a chance to win thanks to the folks at Osmo.)

What Is Osmo?

Osmo is a gaming system that extends play on an iPad to include the physical space in front of the iPad as a play area. It uses the camera on the iPad to view the play area, allowing kids to draw and manipulate physical objects as part of the iPad games.

Osmo is an award-winning game system that will change the way your child interacts with the iPad by opening it up to hands-on play.

Why Your Kids Will Love It

Being able to interact with an iPad in this way is incredibly fun. My kids love it. Osmo brings together physical and digital play in a new way.

The games are challenging and can scale in difficulty to engage kids of different ages from 5 through 12.

Setting up the games is very simple. Once I installed the apps, I showed my daughters in only a couple of minutes how it works and then they were able to completely take control. When they want to play the games, they simply take their iPad out of it’s protective case, set it in the base, attach the red reflector over the camera, and start playing.

My girls tested out the Genius Kit which comes with the games: Numbers, Tangram, Words, Newton, and Masterpiece. They loved all the games, but their favorite was the Tangram.
