“I wish I could remember this moment forever”, I say to myself all too often. I want to remember the exact sea blue shade of my baby’s eyes, remember the bunny softness of his hair, the tubby thickness of his absolutely immaculate thighs.
I want to remember the lyrical tone of his laughter, especially when his big brother tickles his belly in the mornings. Actually, the laughter is less lyrical and more roaring, because those two really know how to play together.
I want to remember all the special moments, but I also want to remember the in-between moments, too. Sometimes the small moments that seem insignificant can end up turning into the sweetest of memories. When your baby suddenly begins walking, you find that you will never go back to the moments of hearing his army crawl on the cool kitchen floor. That moment is forever gone.
The Keepsake Capsule offers a way to treasure these little moments and turn them into memories. A simple memento that is small and versatile, the Keepsake Capsule allows you to encapsulate a miniature photo and tiny token.
A first lost tooth, the clipping from a first haircut, even the sand from an unforgettable vacation – these are all easily stored and saved as a special souvenir to be treasured for ages to come.
The Keepsake Capsule comes in 3 color options – blue, pink and clear – to personalize your capsule even more to your preference.
This is my first year as a mother of two, and I wanted to treasure the moment of all four of us shopping for our Christmas tree together. We snapped a few photos and easily created our own Keepsake Capsule Christmas tree ornament. Here’s how you can do the same…
How To Make A Keepsake Capsule Christmas Tree Ornament
- Carefully trim your photo to the specified dimensions – there is a template provided, which makes this so easy.
- Place your keepsake item (in my case, a clipping from our Christmas tree) in the bottom of the capsule.
- Wrap your photo around the capsule insert, and hold the picture tightly as you place it inside the capsule.
- Turn the capsule until it clicks into place. The Keepsake Capsule is sealed.
- Thread a ribbon or string through the opening at the top and hang it on the tree.
Keepsake Capsules are fantastic Christmas gifts for all the parents and grandparents on your list.
For your own husband, parents or in-laws, you could preserve some special moments in a few Keepsake Capsules and give them already made as gifts. They’d be perfect as part of a larger gift basket or as a gift on their own.
Find out more about Keepsake Capsules on their website and follow them on Facebook.
